What a MARCH~~~

Ok~~here is another post with NO photo editing so you gotta’ take what you see!!! The pics are actually blessed with the beautiful “SUN” which we have lacked a great deal of the last few days…weeks…well actually the entire winter!!! Well—on to bigger and better things!!! SPRING!!!!!!

Here is the “BIG GIRL” now~~ready for her nummies!! Look at that mud~~she is a durteee-burdeee!!!

She is telling bub to hurry-up and get me that sweet feed!! I am wasting away to nothing here folks!!!

Now~~if you have been here at our farm—your well aware that this water is not really supposed to be there!!! This is only the 2nd time that I can remember that the water has gotten this high!!! So…for those of you that know us~~this is pretty darn exciting bizness!

 

Finally~~he is getting with the program! I have been waiting on you for several hours this morning. Really not—but for SanDee 15 mints is waaaaay tooooo long to wait on food!!!

Look at his right shoulder~~look what's attached to the ear!! Never…ever…ever without technology.

Look at all that hay flying around~~WOW!! No wonder he is doing this!!!! Ok—I am just gonna’ say that I didn’t raise him to do this!!! I think maybe his father did???  I am just sayin’!!!

I am sure that he just has some bits of hay that have gotten trapped into his nostril hairs~not a boooger!!! For-heaven-sakes-to-betzzz!!

The pups are so happy to see their master~~you know I really don’t like that word!!! I would rather say their puppy buddy!!! Yeah…yeah that’s what he is!!! “PUPPY BUDDY”

Cooper doesn’t want him to leave~~after all that is his “PUPPY BUDDY”!!

Chief looks totally devastated that he didn’t stick around for a good ol’ “PUPPY BUDDY” lick on the cheek.

There pics are of the road that runs in front of our home!! I don’t think that I need to tell ya’ that the water is not supposed to be over the road! I just thought I should inform ya’ of that because of all the terrible things going on in the world right now—this kinda’ seems trivial and minor and maybe even normal!!!

Have I Told You?

Have I..I am sure that I have…well…let me just tell ya’ all again!  It snows every year on my b-day!! Last year 2010 was the first year for many many years that it has not been snowing.  Well~~Mother Nature didn’t let me down.  It was actually one day after my b-day but who's counting the days!!! I mean really?? It was a within the 24 hour period of my birth so I am gonna’ count it as my day!!!



I know…I know it’s not inches of snow but nonetheless~~it is “SNOW”!!

March Update~~~

As many of you are aware~~I have health problems and when it rains or drastic temp changes…as has been the last few weeks the nerve really irritates me!!!  So…yesterday I had a pretty darn good day~~well for a short while!!! I am gonna’ post some pics of the events that have been going on in the Biggs/Riffe household!!! I am not gonna’ do any fancy editing!! These pics are all natural—so please look over any dirt, trash, bugs, hair…well you get the point!!!!  LOL!!! Oh and one more thing—they are in NO particular order!!!

Matthew back from him “BIG” scrapping haul~~loves counting and saving his $~~woooohoooo!!!



Copper and Chief~~Matthew’s pups!!! Too stinkin’ cute!!!

Matthew and his buddy~”JR” salvaged this little boat!! Great find and a lot of money left in the pocket on this little puppeeeee!!! Rob really enjoyed working on this with the boys!!!!

Check out the lift on that swivel seat!! These were also a salvage find!!!!

Can ya’ tell she is enjoying this mud!!!?? Well this is good nail therapy for her~~or so that is what they Ferrier told me!!!

Matthew wouldn’t get the pups out for me~~I am still pouting about it!! He told me that he was not chasing them up US 23!!!

Matthew cleaning out the dog run~it finally warmed up enough to thaw out the lines!! We thought it was broken~~guess not??

The pups were runnin’ for the little whole so that they would not have their hair blown off of his skin.  They are really wanting me to get out buuuuut Matthew wouldn’t get them out for me!!!??? humpf!!!

Me—baking!!! Yeah…I took full advantage of the day!!! I am frosting the red velvet cake brownies with white chocolate butter cream icing.












So~~this is the monthly update…thus far anyway!!! Remember it is only early March.  I am sure there will be more fun in the sun to come!!!

Quinoa~~yelp…my new LOVE!!!

Yes—my new love is Quinoa~(keen’wah).  Can ya’ believe I didn’t even know how to pronounce the darn stuff a month ago!! I just knew that I liked it!!! This grain has a reputation of being the QUEEN of SUPER grains.  I am not gonna’ bore ya’ with all the nutrition facts~~since this is not that kinda’ blog!! It’s all about fun…love…family…food and more food!!! I am telling you…people~~you have to do yourself a favor and grab ya some of this stuff and whip up a batch of this yummy nummy bowl of delish kindness!!! I am going to put the recipe on Tasty Kitchen so you can check out the how tos and what nots over there!!! I will even give ya the link---to the recipe!!! Gotta’ go for now.  I have some quinoa to eat!
